Although animal health companies, researchers, scientists, veterinary practitioners, pig producers, and other professionals of the swine industry have worked very hard for many years; Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome (PRRS) still represents a high cost and challenge for pork production.
European PRRS research awards
Therefore, at Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health GmbH, we're furthering our commitment to research innovation and efforts by funding research projects related with PRRS control.
The objectives of the PRRS Research awards are to encourage :
- research that results in practical application of PRRS control strategies
- interaction among swine researchers and practitioners ·
- enhance communication of information in the industry on practical PRRS control strategies
- reward research excellence
We issue a call for proposals for the annual European PRRS Research Award. The next deadline for submissions is July 1st, 2017.
