Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica has announced it will expand its operations in St Joseph, Missouri, with a $150 million project. Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica said today it would expand its St. Joseph operations with a $150 million project that will create 124 jobs, reports The Kansas City Star.
The company, a key member of the Kansas City Animal Health Corridor initiative, already has about 600 employees in the St Joseph area. "We have a long and successful history in St Joseph and are committed to growing our business in this community," George Heidgerken, Boehringer Ingelheim's president, said in a statement. "I feel confident about our growth strategy and ability to compete globally as an animal health research and development and manufacturing facility."
